Kingsoft's office suite is a free alternative to Microsoft Office that includes a word processor, spreadsheet and presentation creator. The program offers all the features you need for day-to-day work, as well as some useful additions, such as a built-in PDF converter, customisable table functions, dynamic slides and document encryption. The program's design brows heavily from MS Office 2003, but includes tabs, so you can quickly and easily switch between multiple open documents. It can open any file created using Microsoft Office and save documents in all the standard formats, with the exception of DOCX, which is currently read-only.
