There are clear benefits to defragging your hard disk on a regular basis, but it's not always obvious how much of a speed improvement - if any - you're likely to see as a result. O&O SpeedCheck reads a test sample of fragmented data on your system, then reads a defragmented version and shows you the theoretical maximum speed boost you could get if you defragged everything for real. The software only simulates reading, and doesn’t actually move any files around.
