ProtoThunder is a sideways-scrolling shoot-'em-up with Sega Master System-style graphics. The game takes place across three levels (more levels are planned for future releases), and there are two difficulty modes: easy and hard. Instead of individual lives, you have a single shield which depletes when you get hit, but which can be recharged by collecting power-ups.
