File size: 3.8MB

Briss - named after the Jewish rite of circumcision - is a useful batch-cropping tool that lets you remove unwanted borders from large PDF documents and ebooks. The program merges facting pages into a single spread letting you simultaneously crop them all to the same dimensions. Any pages you don't want to merge - such as the cover - can be excluded and cropped separately. The Action menu lets you maximise the cropping rectangle to height or width and you can preview the results in your default PDF viewer before making them permanent.
