Eusing Free Registry Cleaner is a free registry repair software that allows you to safely clean and repair registry problems with a few simple mouse clicks. The Windows Registry is a crucial part of your PC's operation system.
There's something very familiar about the latest version of Eusing's system-cleaning tool and it doesn't take long to realise what it is. The interface borrows heavily from Piriform's CCleaner whit the strip of icons down the left hand side, cleaner settings with tick boxes and test and clean buttons at the bottom. This does mean the software is very easy to get to grips with especially if you have used CCleaner before. To remove temporary files, cookies, memory dumps and other leftover data you simply tick the programs and Windows elements to target and then hit Test. The software will scan your system and provide you with a brief report of what it can remove and how much space will be saved. Unticking the fast mode box will produce a more detailed listing. Click Clean and the software will remove the chosen files. The registry cleaner is very through and lets you choose which parts of the database to scane. You can back up the Registry before making any changes and restore it in the event of problems. The defrag option underneath doesn't actually defrag your hard disk as you might expect but instead defragments the Registry. Click the Analyze button to check for unnecessary space and programs and general disorganisation. It will also show you the potential size reduction. Click defrag to perform the changes. The tools button contains a Startup manager and Full Registry and Windows Backup functions. Click Options To configure the program, manage cookies, schedule cleans and set Registry keys and values to ignore. There's also a Boss Key which when activated will hide your web browser at the press of a button.
