Following in the footsteps of Chrome Canary and Firefox Aurora, Opera now offers its own separate developmental version of its browser. This lets you try out the latest features such as Speed Dial extensions, without disrupting your existing (stable) installation. Opera Next will update automatically as and when new incremental versions are released.
